Mark Gleaton (Guitar,
Vocals)
Mark
lives in Gaston, SC and is married to Doris with two grown
step-children and grandson. He is a member of Christian
Fellowship Baptist Church where he has served as a deacon.
Mark spent many years chasing worldly things, but recommitted his
life to the Lord in 2001. He has always enjoyed music and
playing acoustic guitar, so becoming a member of Hi-Cotton
fulfilled a dream to play with a band and also presented a way to
use his talents to minister to others. Mark feels the Lord
has blessed him with this unique opportunity to be a part of a
gospel music ministry utilizing his passion and love of music for
the glory of God.
James Hallman (Vocals)
James Hallman is a
believer and fully knows how to trust the Lord to provide for all
his needs. He is legally blind but he will not be defeated
and he will not give into the lies of the Deceiver. He has
been married 41 years. He and his wife, Ann, have two grown
sons. His oldest son, Carlton, has been married to Melisa
for 22 years and they have two grown children, JC, who is engaged
to Ashley, and a daughter, Bethany. His younger son, Jamie,
is married to Brandy, and he has two sons, Cooper, and Ashton.
James priorities are service to the Lord, his family, his two
miniature dogs (a cross between a miniature poodle and a
Pekingese), and his "ESSO" station/work shop.
He likes to work with his hands and after 20 years he has finally
begun to re-model the last two rooms of the house.

Spring, SC with his wife Stefanie and their 2 children (the
4-legged kind). He is a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.

says "I am so happy to be able to combine my love of music
with my love of God and share His love with all who hear us sing
of his praises."
Mike
Holbert (Drums,
Vocals)
Mike
was saved at the age of 14 at his home church , Providence
Baptist in Orangeburg, SC. "God has done so much for me and
I want to Thank Him for opening this door of opportunity to serve
Him as the "heart-beat" of Hi-Cotton. Mike and his
wife, Pam, owns and operates Signs Plus and KB Bagz in Orangeburg
where he sells signs of all types and she does monogramming. Mike
is now committed to serving Jesus Christ to the best of his
ability with Hi-Cotton, at the voice of God's calling. Mike's
favorite Bible verses to share with others are Proverbs 3: 5-6
and John 3:16! Mike asks, " remember to Admit that you are a
sinner, Believe that Jesus died for "you" on the cross
and Confess Him as Lord of your life and you too shall be saved!"
Jimmy Johnson
(Harmonica)
Jimmy
lives in St. Matthews and has 4 grown children and 6
grandchildren. By being a part of Hi-Cotton, he hopes that
God’s Kingdom will be advanced. Jimmy says “ It
is my greatest desire that people will see evidence of Christ in
my live and that I will always be ready to be a witness for Him.”
Ansley Morrison (Lead
Guitar, Vocals)
Ansley has been involved with
Christian music most of his life either playing and singing in
gospel groups or serving as music director in church. He
joined Hi-Cotton in August of 2007 playing the bass guitar and
singing bass. He has since changed over to lead guitar and
singing the baritone part and also does most of the emceeing for
the group. He also handles the booking and
promotional duties for the group and wife Tina manages the
product table. They are members of Dry Creek Baptist
Church in Ward, SC and make their home in Ridge
Spring, SC. Ansley and Tina, his wife of 34 years, have 2
grown children and a daughter-in-law. They are very proud of
their children and their involvement in the group and their
Christian witness. Their daughter Alicia helps Tina with
the product table, their son Drew plays bass and sings lead for
the group and daughter-in-law Stefanie runs the sound.
Ansley and Tina also have 2 very spoiled cats, Ollie and Casper.
Ansley believes that the songs that Hi-Cotton Ministries perform
contain a strong message for Christians and non-Christians alike
about Jesus- without that message it would just be music! "
The main goal in our lives is to uplift the name of Jesus and to
share all the wonderful things that he has done in our lives."
Stefanie Morrison (Sound)
